Until Sunday 15 June 2025 the Casa della Confraternita will host the 18th edition of the exhibition Mosaicamente organised by the Fondazione Bambini e Autisimo ONLUS with the patronage of the Municipality of Udine and in collaboration with the Civici Musei di Udine.

The exhibition presents a selection of mosaic works inspired by the pictorial masterpieces of the American master Edward Hopper (1882-1967) and American Realism.

Adults with autism, thanks to a collective work carried out at the Officina dell'Arte (Pordenone), present their original interpretations of some of the American artist's paintings. The mosaic technique, in fact, allows a high degree of innovation and reinterpretation of the chromatic and luministic values of the works of American Realism. The users collaborated in all the phases of the project: conception, production, setting up and communication, with a special focus on sustainability through the good practice of recycling, an ecological choice that is becoming the stylistic feature of the works produced at the Pordenone-based Officina.

The project also includes the creation of some tactile works in collaboration with and with the advice of the Pordenone section of the Unione Italiana dei Ciechi e degli Ipovedenti Onlus APS. This collaboration allows for an in-depth reflection on the sensorial aspects of the works on display.
