Museums without Borders

At the proposal of the Polo Museale del Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Civici Musei (City Museums) of Udine have joined "Museums without Borders", an initiative which aims to promote the “improvement of the knowledge and dissemination of the culture and history of the European peoples” in accordance with the principles set out in the Lisbon Treaty.

This international agreement applies to Slovenia, Croatia and Italy and entitles visitors from these member states (in this case, Slovenia and Croatia) to obtain a 50% discount on ticket prices at participating museums, provided that these visitors are in possession of a valid ticket (free or purchased) issued by one of the other participating museums in the preceding 20 days. This reduction applies only when the original ticket is either a single or family ticket.
