Friuli DOC 2023 at the Ethnographic Museum of Friuli

As part of Friuli Doc 2023, the Ethnographic Museum of Friuli will also play a leading role with two special events, all in Friulian, to be held on Saturday 9 September 2023 at Palazzo Giacomelli (via Grazzano 1, Udine):


At 10 a.m. agronomist Enos Costantini will hold the conference 'Di tai in tai fra Ribuele e Tocai', a journey to discover wine production in Friuli. This will be followed by a tasting of Friulian wines organised by the Italian Sommelier Association of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Admission is free, reservation is mandatory as places are limited (max. 50 people).

At 3 p.m. visitors will be taken on a free guided tour of the textile art exhibition "Ancient and Modern Warps" organised by the Centro Internazionale di Ricerca Tessile (Villa Santina). The exhibition will be open until 17 September from Friday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The guided tour is included in the museum entrance ticket (€ 5.00 full price/€ 2.50 reduced), which also allows a visit to the permanent collections.
